During January we had a visit from a Deacon. The Deacon was Kate Darcy’s cousin. His name was Jamie and was really nice! We asked him lots of questions! Áine Quaid remembers making a wonderful acrostic poem for Spring!

Pheilim English enjoys doing the Buddy Reading with Ms. Finnegan’s third class. Róisín Madden has stuck to her Lenten promise to give up biscuits but have the rest of the class followed her example?

Alli O’Sullivan really enjoyed all the baking that we did because it was really fun! Senan Moloney enjoyed painting the evergreen trees. Dylan O’ Connell liked painting the picture of Spring! Finn Cahill is proud of his Valentine’s Day card that he made for his very special Mum.

In February, Harry O’ Halloran enjoyed making and especially the eating of the pancakes that we made for Pancake Tuesday. Evan Foley learned lots about Jesus going to the desert during Lent and that the priest wears purple during Lent.

Matthew Long enjoyed when the class participated in the hurling, particularly the extra weeks that were offered by the members of Parteen G.A.A. Moya and Keeva McNamara had a great birthday! Jay Deedigan enjoyed asking lots of questions to the Alive-O inspector!

We all loved January and February because it was a new year.
